I think this is a great deal for someone looking for that late 80’s pre-grunge sound.The Legendary NS-2™ Bass Introduced in 1979, it has become the standard for what a Professional P/J Bass should be. The case has a few dings and marks on it, but what case doesn’t? Local pickup in the Chicago Area only at this point. It comes with the original Spector branded case. I did find a scratch in the plastic cover plate on the back. It has that contour body and neck-thru construction. Depending on where you live in the country you may want to add or reduce the neck relief when it acclimates to your location. I found no fret buzz anywhere before I packed it up. The strings are newer (as I have barely played them) and are probably less than a year old. So thats why my love of these instruments is still so strong today- theyre great, quality American basses and Im sure there are thousands of other bassists. It has been played, but I remember only taking it to only one or two gigs.
